How to Generate Green Power for your home

Submitted on August 6, 2009 No Comment

Have you heard or read about the windmills that have kept Holland safe from the sea? Today, with modern technology, you can also use windmills to provide your home with electricity. And they need not be as big as those Dutch windmills; compact ones can fit in your home.

WIND POWER

But before you can put up that windmill, you need to visit your local hardware store. It can provide you most of what you will need – a generator, a mounting, blades, a tower, and batteries which can store power. The rotation of the motor, called turbine, which consists mainly of the generator and its outer part, the blades, is what produces the wind power for electricity. And because this process does not need fuel to generate energy, wind power is clean power. If you want to make the process of installing a windmill easier, you can draw detailed illustrations.

Lastly, you have to decide where to put your equipment. The windmill need not be in a windy area because even the slightest breeze can turn on the blades.

Now, you have a choice between SOLAR POWER and WIND POWER to provide your home with cost efficient electricity.

And with most everyone in the family happily lending a hand to produce power from renewable energy, is it not fun? Soon you will have light and heat from NATURE!
